I came across Hamilton Lillian by way of a fellow flower grower in upstate New York whose bouquets always looked well blended. I realized that Hamilton William was in most of the photos that caught my eye so I bought her. Her crisp peachy coloring - some say more like a ripe cantalope- does indeed help blend with other colors from early summer through late fall.
Her formal decorative blooms measure in the range of 4-5” and she stands around 3.5-4’ when happy. Often referred to as a ‘workhorse’ producer, I’m glad I tracked her down and have increased the number of tubers I plant of her.
